Special examination session – September 2025 

The special examination session during the period 01 – 07.09.2025 is intended EXCLUSIVELY for:

• Students enrolled in the Preparatory Year of Romanian Language who were unable to complete their academic requirements for the second semester due to valid medical reasons, proven by a hospital discharge form or a medical letter signed and stamped by a specialist doctor, covering the official evaluation periods.
  Medical certificates issued by general practitioners (family doctors) are NOT accepted.

Exam Registration:

Students must send an email between August 19–26, 2025 (by 13:00 PM) to andrian.macari@uaic.ro, with the following attachments:

• A hand-signed request (click here) addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Letters, UAIC, including: full name, specialization, year of study, all course(s) for which they are requesting evaluation, semester and course instructor, and the medical reason for their absence from the June/June–July 2025 session.

• Scanned supporting medical documents.

Requests to participate in exams will be reviewed in accordance with current regulations.

Students applying for the special session on medical grounds must have previously fulfilled all teaching and academic requirements announced by course instructors at the beginning of the semester.

Therefore, students cannot participate in this session if they:

• Have no grades for continuous assessment (e.g., practical work, seminars), or

• Were not allowed to take the exam due to excessive absences.

Students who have already taken the exam for a course during any previous session in the 2024–2025 academic year (e.g., June or June–July 2025) are not eligible to apply for the September 2025 special session.

Notifications of approval or rejection will be sent by August 27, 2025.

The exam schedule and room allocations will be published by August 27, 2025, on this website.

Students approved to participate must submit in person the original request and original medical documents at the Secretariat of the Preparatory Year of Romanian Language, Building G, on August 28th or August 29th 2025, between 8:30-11:00 AM.
